Data Collection and Use

Remco is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this data to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Remco collects data from our users at several different points on our website.
Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected, or for any period of time for which we must retain it to meet legal requirements. Data is also delete when it is not possible to store, due to inaccuracy.

Registration

The data we receive from users is voluntary. In order to use the customer and agent login features on this website, a user must register by providing required data.
During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name, company, telephone number and email address). This information is used to provide login to secure features of this site, and to contact the user about the services for which they have expressed interest.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site.

Log Files

Remco uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer, track user’s movement within our site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing

Remco will not share data to others unless compelled by law or legal process.
We may however disclose data to our 3rd party agents for the purpose of performing services on our behalf. These parties are not allowed to share this data except for the purpose of providing these services.

This web site contains links to other sites for convenience and added information. Remco is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ data. When users submit sensitive data via the website, it is protected both on-line and off-line.

Site and Service Updates

Occasionally, we may send marketing or promotional e-mail communications to you with information that may be useful, including information about products and services of Remco and other 3rd parties with whom we have a relationship. We will include instructions on how to unsubscribe and inform us of preferences if recipients decide they do not want to receive any future marketing or promotional e-mails.

Correction/Updating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable data changes (such as postal code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. This can usually be done by contacting our Customer Support.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what data we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable data in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their data in this different manner. We will use data in accordance with the privacy policy under which the data was collected.
